Who we are

TheGreatestWant (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2012/060406/07), of President Park, Midrand, Gauteng, is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website and in the course of our work.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, and whatever you choose to put in your message.
• Information from our engagements. In the course of delivering a project we process the personal information of client staff and system users, strictly as instructed by the client, who remains the responsible party for that data.
• Website usage. This site sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, trackers, or fonts. Standard server logs may be kept by our hosting provider.

Why we process it

To respond to your enquiry, to provide services under a contract, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and for the legitimate interests of running our business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only where necessary: our email and hosting providers acting as operators on our instruction, professional advisers, and regulators or authorities where the law requires it. Operators are bound to confidentiality and to process information only as instructed.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with the matter and to meet record keeping obligations, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Project records are retained for the period agreed with the client or required by law.

How we protect it

Access controls, encryption in transit, and the security practices we apply to the systems we build for our clients. If a security compromise affects personal information, we notify the Information Regulator and affected data subjects as POPIA requires.

Your rights

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and why.
• Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, or obtained unlawfully.
• Object to processing, on reasonable grounds.
• Complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
